The children of a lesser god are the cobblers
Judged with regards to their trade.
The children of a lesser god are the farmers
Who feed the nation, but whom the society degrade.
The children of a lesser god are the service men
Whom you so unsparingly call 'unlearned'.
The children of a lesser god are the preys in your den
Whom you mutilate as sacrifices to office power uncared.
The children of a lesser god are the plebs
Whom the government has unruly forgotten.
The children of a lesser god are the 'celebs'
Held under bridges with a maimed future to rotten.
The son of a lesser god is me, it's you
The world has left in the wild to die undue.
Perhaps, if the world were as it would, fair
We would with all things equable and fair
Not an all fickle and an erroneous contingence
See prejudice a no existence not a potent ox in conticence.
But earth with a wavering temperament is defined catastrophe
As if potentates had dropped from the sky
A son of a Higher God ordained with ferocity and authority
With a mighty sceptre that whosoever righteous must die
Or like a torturer to the lesser man he is called
Which forced Tennyson to say the much he could:
"As if some lesser god had made the world
But had no force, to shape it as he would
Till the High God behold it from beyond,
And enter it and make it beautiful?.... "
Oh God! Even as we have laid our foot on your paths
For not that we cross it with bitter hue
But for thy will we have set our hearts
Let your sweet showers rain on us as the morning due,
That your word be our meat and your kindness our fat
That the children of this world do not your long-suffering
Take for granted and suffer us to live the life of a rat
But that we be glorified as Princes, the children of a King.
Oh Lord! Let your finger write on the walls of the street
The inscriptions of justice and let them that are revered
Become the vultures meat
For thou alone oh Lord art sacred!
